As with a jig saw puzzle:
The whole begins to be visible only when enough pieces are connected.
Yet, one reason the builder can connect the pieces is that they already have an image of the whole (the picture on the box).
The builder, with studied focus, examines each and every piece (pondering shapes, colors, patterns).
Yet, mysteriously, the builder also watches and feels their way, sometimes waiting on the puzzle to suggest the next step towards completion. (This is the testimony of jigsaw puzzle aficionados.)
The goal of completing the puzzle does not permit the builder to discard troublesome pieces. (The maker’s design is paramount.)
A piece is missing! The builder searches high and low for the missing piece. (It may have fallen on the floor or into the pocket of an apron.)
How determined are you to put all the pieces together in order to see Reality, instead of illusion? Is it important to you to learn to see the world more and more as God sees? The value of such sight, of course, is that as our vision/version of the world becomes more grounded in the truth, it becomes more and more likely that we will make life enhancing decisions.
Today I am going to begin sharing a series of videos for the purpose of sharing with you extremely important pieces of the Big Picture of the world as my living and learning have revealed the world to me. I will answer questions like, “What in the world is going on in the world? And, how do I live well in this world as it is, rather than the world as I futilely wish it could be? How do I help the children I love to also live well, finding hope and being love, in the world as it is, not as I would prefer it to be?
